This project involves the vacation of an unused portion of the County public road right-of-way located at 1900 Indian Valley Road, identified as Assessor Parcel No. 146-280-83, in unincorporated Novato, Marin County, California. The area in question is currently utilized by the property owners, Carol L. Graves and Vincent E. O’Brien, as a residential yard and pasture and serves no current public street or highway purpose. As part of the vacation process, a permanent public utility easement is reserved for PG&E and other utility providers. The action is managed by the Marin County Department of Public Works, with Justin Fink serving as the Real Property Agent. The project has been granted a CEQA Categorical Exemption under Section 15301, Class 1(c), as it is determined that the area is not required for public use and does not meet any exceptions under 14 CCR Section 15300.2.
