Alviso Marina County Park Preferred Plan

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife Bay Delta Region has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-SCL-52412-R3 with the County of Santa Clara Parks and Recreation Department. This agreement, signed on July 24, 2026, authorizes the Alviso Marina County Park Dock and Infrastructure Maintenance Project located at Alviso Slough in California. The scope of work is specifically limited to repairs and maintenance at the Alviso Marina Boat Launch, which includes repairing the boat launch and associated docks, performing maintenance dredging at the boat launch site, and replacing damaged wooden decking along public boardwalks. The project is governed by Fish and Game Code section 1602 and adheres to California environmental review procedures, including the California Code of Regulations and the Public Resources Code. A Notice of Determination confirms that the project will not have a significant environmental effect within the jurisdiction of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, provided that adopted mitigation measures and a monitoring plan are followed.
