Valve Exerciser Equipment (Wachs or Equivalent)

The County of Sacramento is soliciting bids for the provision and delivery of one new, self-contained, skid-mounted, gasoline-powered valve exerciser for the Sacramento County Water Agency. The equipment must be equipped with hydro-excavation and vacuum systems for the maintenance and repair of fresh-water system valves and must comply with Specification 660-468. Key technical requirements include a gloss white paint finish, permanent engraved metal or plastic labeling, and mandatory California Air Resources Board certification for all engines. Deliverables include the exerciser unit, standard tool kits, keys, and multiple copies of operator, safety, and service manuals. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with additional consideration given to product warranty, local service and parts support, delivery dates, and past performance.
