The ENT/Laryngology Clinic is in need of twenty-four (24) flexible video rhino-laryngoscopes and five (5) video system towers, along with supporting equipment and image management software. The flexible laryngoscopes and platform equipment have diagnostic capabilities. Laryngeal stroboscope, as compared to flexible laryngoscopy, uses a strobe light to obtain views of vocal fold vibration during speech. The ability to do stroboscope depends, in turn, on light sources which are capable of measuring vocal fold frequency and generating a light source that enables the slow-motion strobe effect.
