AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the Ariba Discovery posting response deadline closing time and CanadaBuys posting closing time. All required supporting documentation and bid submission must be submitted by 2023-04-18 at 14:00 EDT. All bids submitted after 14:00 EDT will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. SUMMARY: Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC), Suffield Research Centre (SRC) has a requirement for modeling and simulation support for the development of electromagnetic-based counter explosive threat technologies. OBJECTIVE: There is ongoing research at DRDC Suffield to provide Canadian warfighters with the ability to counter explosive threats, such as improvised explosive devices, explosive remnants of war, landmines, etc. The particular research program of relevance seeks to improve explosive threat detection and defeat capabilities of systems based on electromagnetic interaction with explosive threat objects. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The contract will be effective from date of award to 2027-03-31.
