WAESCHE REQUEST FOR LUBE OIL

The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting bids for the delivery of 1,500 gallons of Shell Rotella T3 15W40 lubricating oil to the USCGC WAESCHE-751 at Coast Guard Island in Alameda, California, between July 10 and July 24, 2026. Bids must be submitted via email to PAUL.C.APALIT@USCG.MIL no later than July 6, 2026, and only direct contractors are permitted—no third-party vendors are allowed. The awardee must provide certification that oil can be pumped over-the-water from a truck to the vessel within one day of arrival, and must also possess and maintain current EPA certification. Required equipment includes a 2-inch male camlock fitting and 150 feet of hose for the transfer, along with DOT shipping documents to be signed by an authorized USCG representative and Over Water Transfer notifications to be submitted prior to operations. Coordination with designated USCG personnel for safety and pre-operational procedures is mandatory.
