09/12/2023 08:06:32 (PST) : Replace approximately 1100 LF of existing 30" CI waterline with new 30" PVC waterline. 1. Request Engineering service to provide RFP SOW/IGE. Provide DD1391, SAR and NEPA approval. Complete the RFP Package ( Project Documents) and award Project FY 26 Q2 2. RFP Package to be completed earlier than 29 December 2025 and design release to ACQ not later than 23 Jan 2026. 3. DD1391 need to start earlier than 24 June 2025 and be completed , signed by PWO/ARE not later than 4 December 2025. 4. NEPA/CATEX/SAR need to start the development earlier than 25 August 2025 and must be completed 23 Nov 2025. 5. 35% RFP submittal must be completed 11 September 2025; 65% RFP Submittal to be completed 7 October 2025 and 100% RFP to be completed 19 Nov 2025. PROEJCT OBJECTIVE: A. The Project is to replace approximately 1100 LF of existing 30-inches CI transmission line with new 30-inches BFPVC waterline. Provide fittings/transition fittings, reaction/thrust blocks and other appurtenance as required to ensure a complete and usable final product. B. Disconnect, cut and abandon-in-place existing water transmission line and fill entire pipe with flowable concrete once the new line is completed and ready for connection. The existing line shall remain active for continuous service during the construction of the new water transmission line. C. The new water transmission shall be placed in a new trench within the Department of Defense real estate interest boundaries and easement, and shall be parallel to the existing water transmission line. The existing 30"waterline is over 60 years old and has exceeded its life expectancy. Failure to replace this waterline will results in the inability to store 5200 Kgal of potable water which provides fire and domestic water to all of NBG
