AI Contract Overview
Hillsborough County intends to award a sole source procurement to Alfred Benesch & Company for crash data management and support services over a three year period with an estimated cost of 97,200.00 dollars. The contract focuses on the maintenance and operation of the WebCDMS system, which integrates data from the Florida Department of Transportation, the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, and local law enforcement. Key capabilities include automated crash locating, collision diagramming, and top crash location lists, all accessible via a web based application with accompanying staff training and customer support. This procurement is conducted as a sole source award because Alfred Benesch & Company is the only provider of the existing integrated system. The County maintains the right to extend the contract duration, adjust the scope of services, and increase the award amount as needed. While this is not a request for competitive bids, interested contractors may submit challenges to the intended award through the EUNA Procurement system by the specified deadline to demonstrate that bona fide competition exists.
