While pricing is required for budgeting, it is not a scored evaluation factor. Successful contractors must adhere to strict insurance requirements, including coverage from insurers with an AM Best rating of A+ or better. Contract administration includes electronic payments with a 30-day term following the submission of itemized invoices. Additionally, proponents must provide comprehensive risk-management plans covering safety procedures, emergency contacts, and weather contingencies.
