The Defense Commissary Agency is conducting market research through a sources sought announcement to identify qualified small businesses capable of supplying commercial wooden fixtures and displays for use across up to 235 commissary locations in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and overseas regions in Europe and the Far East. This requirement is exclusively set aside for small businesses under FAR 19.5 with a NAICS code of 337215, and all respondents must be registered in SAM.gov and have completed electronic annual representations and certifications per FAR 4.203. Respondents are required to demonstrate their capability to meet stringent technical specifications for bakery and produce displays, including items such as bakery tables with drop leaves, multi-tiered island displays, tilt-top produce tables, orchard bins with ice reservoirs, and mobile end caps—all constructed of oak with a light oak finish and moisture-resistant sealant. Each item must comply with dimensional tolerances, safety standards like rounded edges on rails, and specific assembly shipping requirements: some must be delivered fully assembled and ready to use, while others must be pre-drilled and ready for on-site assembly. The equipment must come with a one-year warranty covering material, workmanship, parts, service, and labor, and vendors must ensure continued parts support for the projected life cycle of the product plus five additional years. Compliance with the Buy American statute is mandatory, requiring vendors to either meet domestic content thresholds or clearly state the country of manufacture. Responses must include a capability statement, product brochures with full specifications, UEI or CAGE code, company details, and explicit confirmation of the manufacturing country. This announcement is not a solicitation, does not obligate the government to award a contract, and does not compensate respondents for costs incurred in preparing submissions. All responses are due by June 15, 2026, and must be directed to the contracting office in Fort Lee, Virginia, with point of contact information provided for inquiries.
