COMMUNICATIONS SITE INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION AND MODERNIZATION

SOURCES SOUGHT

The US Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting market research to make an appropriate acquisition decision and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses interested and capable of providing the services described herein. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to fulfill the governments requirement.

The USGS has a requirement for radio communications site infrastructure construction and modernization to support the USGS Earthquake Science Center (ESC) and Volcano Science Center (VSC) for Earthquake and Volcano Hazards Seismic Monitoring Programs. The scope of work encompasses maintenance, repair, and upgrades including, but not limited to, environmental control systems; generator and solar power systems; power distribution systems; backup battery arrays; earth grounding; communications shelter and tower infrastructure; antenna installation and alignment; coaxial cable routing; and remediation of deficiencies identified through inspection processes.

INSTRUCTION FOR SOURCES SOUGHT SUBMISSION:

Respondents shall include the following as part of their submission:

a. A synopsis of the company's capabilities and documentation demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed all requirements outlined in the Statement of Work.
