THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION NOTICE. In accordance with Office of Management and Budget Circular A-76 (Revised), Performance of Commercial Activities, May 29, 2003, this notice represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a public-private competition of Facilities Sustainment performed at the NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, Hampton Roads, VA area. The incumbent service providers affected by this public-private competition are approximately 469 Department of Defense Government personnel positions and three Commercial Service Providers. A standard competition will be conducted in accordance with the revised circular. The planned solicitation issue date is June 6, 2008. Prospective private sector and public reimbursable service providers are encouraged to respond to the solicitation. The preliminary planning baseline cost report (COMPARE Version 2.1a) and supporting documentation for this competition may be downloaded.
