Connect ChatGPT to CLEATUS

Add the official CLEATUS app from the ChatGPT Apps directory and work your pipeline from any chat.

CLEATUS has an official app in the ChatGPT Apps directory. Add it once, and ChatGPT can work on your real CLEATUS account. ChatGPT can search live opportunities, analyze solicitations, and update your pipeline in plain English.

Who this is for

This article is for CLEATUS users who already work in ChatGPT. Connect CLEATUS to use your opportunities, recommendations, pipeline, tasks, and workflows from a ChatGPT chat.

What you'll need

  • A CLEATUS account on the DATA + AI plan or higher. Your subscription must be active, or your trial must be started.
  • A ChatGPT account on a plan that supports apps.

Your CLEATUS sign-in is the only credential that the connection uses.

Set up the connection

  1. Open the CLEATUS app in ChatGPT. You can also start in CLEATUS: open Settings > Integrations, then click Open in ChatGPT on the ChatGPT card. On your dashboard home, the Integrations card also has a Connect button for ChatGPT.
  2. Add the CLEATUS app to ChatGPT.
  3. The Connect to CLEATUS page opens. Sign in, then under Select company, pick the company for this connection. Click Authorize.
  4. Test the connection. Mention CLEATUS in a chat and ask: "Audit my pipeline this week."

Connect with developer mode instead

If you cannot use the app directory, add CLEATUS as a custom connector. In ChatGPT, open Settings > Apps & Connectors > Advanced and turn on Developer mode. Then create a connector with these values:

  • Name: CLEATUS
  • URL: https://www.cleat.ai/api/mcp/mcp
  • Authentication: OAuth

What ChatGPT can do once connected

The app gives ChatGPT CLEATUS tools that it calls for you:

  • Discover: Search federal, state, and local opportunities and forecasts. Get your ranked recommendations.
  • Evaluate: Read an opportunity's summary, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) sections, and documents. Research awards, agencies, contractors, and contracting officers.
  • Pursue: Add opportunities to your pipeline and update pursuits. Create and assign tasks, and manage saved searches.
  • Automate: Create, activate, and run your CLEATUS workflows.
  • Context: Read your Capture Profile, notifications, team members, and credit balance.

Many results come back as cards with actions, such as Add to Pipeline and Dismiss. Each action runs as your CLEATUS user, with the same permissions as the web app. The tools are free to call. They do not use credits.

Company scoping

Each connection is scoped to the one company that you picked during sign-in. A connection cannot read or change another company's data. To switch companies, remove the app in ChatGPT and add it again. Then pick the other company on the sign-in page.

Troubleshooting

  • ChatGPT finds no pipeline, tasks, or saved searches. You picked the wrong company during sign-in. Remove the app and connect again with the correct company.
  • The sign-in page says "Upgrade required". The connectors are on the DATA + AI plan and above. Upgrade your CLEATUS plan, then connect again.
  • ChatGPT reports that your subscription is inactive or your trial is not started. Sign in at cleat.ai/dashboard to renew or to start your trial.
  • Unauthorized errors after it worked before. The connection expired or was revoked. Connect again so ChatGPT signs in again.
