Connect Claude to CLEATUS

Add CLEATUS to Claude from the official connector directory. One click, one sign-in, no URLs to paste.

CLEATUS is listed in the official Claude connector directory. Connect it once, and Claude can work on your real CLEATUS account. Claude can search live opportunities, read solicitation summaries, and manage your pipeline in plain English.

Who this is for

This article is for CLEATUS users who already work in Claude. Connect CLEATUS to use your opportunities, recommendations, pipeline, tasks, and workflows from a Claude chat.

What you'll need

  • A CLEATUS account on the DATA + AI plan or higher. Your subscription must be active, or your trial must be started.
  • A Claude account on a plan that supports connectors.

Your CLEATUS sign-in is the only credential that the connection uses.

Set up the connection

  1. Open the CLEATUS listing in the Claude directory: claude.ai/directory/cleatus. You can also start in CLEATUS: open Settings > Integrations, then click Open in Claude on the Claude card.
  2. In Claude, click Connect. You do not paste a web address or fill in a custom connector form.
  3. The Connect to CLEATUS page opens. Sign in, then under Select company, pick the company for this connection. Click Authorize.
  4. Test the connection. Ask Claude: "Find open federal opportunities that fit our capabilities and summarize the top five."

Set up a custom connector instead

On your dashboard home, the Integrations card shows Connect next to Claude. Click it to open a step-by-step walkthrough:

  1. Copy the CLEATUS Model Context Protocol (MCP) server address: https://www.cleat.ai/api/mcp/mcp.
  2. Click Open Claude. On the Connectors page, click Add custom connector. Paste the address, name it "CLEATUS", and click Add.
  3. Sign in to CLEATUS, pick the company, and click Authorize.

What Claude can do once connected

The connection gives Claude CLEATUS tools that it calls for you:

  • Discover: Search federal, state, and local opportunities and forecasts. Get your ranked recommendations.
  • Evaluate: Read an opportunity's summary, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) sections, and documents. Research awards, agencies, contractors, and contracting officers.
  • Pursue: Add opportunities to your pipeline and update pursuits. Create and assign tasks, and manage saved searches.
  • Automate: Create, activate, and run your CLEATUS workflows.
  • Context: Read your Capture Profile, notifications, team members, and credit balance.

Each action runs as your CLEATUS user, with the same permissions as the web app. The tools are free to call. They do not use credits.

Company scoping

Each connection is scoped to the one company that you picked during sign-in. A connection cannot read or change another company's data. To switch companies, remove the connector in Claude and add it again. Then pick the other company on the sign-in page.

Troubleshooting

  • Claude finds no pipeline, tasks, or saved searches. You picked the wrong company during sign-in. Remove the connector and connect again with the correct company.
  • The sign-in page says "Upgrade required". The connectors are on the DATA + AI plan and above. Upgrade your CLEATUS plan, then connect again.
  • Claude reports that your subscription is inactive or your trial is not started. Sign in at cleat.ai/dashboard to renew or to start your trial.
  • Unauthorized errors after it worked before. The connection expired or was revoked. Connect again so Claude signs in again.
