10 -- AIRBORNE LASER (ABL) INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Missile Defense Agency's Airborne Laser Program Office at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM, is preparing to procure critical components for the Airborne Laser (ABL) Infrastructure Development Program under solicitation F33657-03-R-2016. This solicitation is conducted as a limited source procurement under FAR 6.302, with negotiations planned to take place exclusively with a single source. The preferred source is the team that previously handled the laser subsystem during the Concept Design and Program Definition and Risk Reduction/Block 2004 contract, deemed uniquely qualified to fulfill the contract requirements. Although the Government intends to engage only this team, interested parties are invited to express their interest and demonstrate their capability to meet the program needs or submit proposals.
