This contract involves the monthly updating of the AMCOM Competition Management Office’s (CMO) website and the Competition Advocate’s Shopping Lists (CASL). The CMO maintains and refreshes key information on their homepage, which serves as a valuable resource for industry partners and those new to AMCOM and the Army. The CASL provides essential data on projected procurements spanning up to five fiscal years, covering Aviation and Missile commodities in areas such as spare and repair parts, maintenance and overhaul, and major items and services. The updated content supports both the contracting community and the Redstone Arsenal community with guidance on becoming approved sources through the Source Approval Request process, secondary sourcing information for Aviation restricted source items, and general program information related to AMCOM. The contract is managed under the Department of Defense at Redstone Arsenal, AL, and aims to ensure timely and accurate updates to these online resources, facilitating better communication and access for current and prospective suppliers. The website also addresses technical accessibility concerns, including those related to internet service providers and Army firewalls, providing contact details for assistance. Additional features include a SAMSAR tab for newly updated secondary sourcing data and a novation SAR link for approved sources undergoing changes, making the CMO’s online presence a comprehensive hub for acquisition-related information and support within AMCOM.

The CMO continually updates information contained on our home page located at http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo. The CMO Overview presentation is an excellent start for those new to AMCOM and the Army. If any industry partners have trouble accessing this webpage, please contact us. Internet service providers and Army firewalls wreck havoc some times. The Competition Advocates Shopping List (CASL) is located on our homepage or direct link is https://ams8.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_casl. CASL hyperlinks exist for both Aviation and Missile commodities in the areas of Spare/Repair Parts, Maintenance & Overhaul and Major Items/Services. The CASL reflects projected procurements covering up to 5 out-years. We have other pertinent data that will benefit both the contracting community and Redstone community such as information on how to become an approved source for AMCOM managed items via the Source Approval Request (SAR) process, Creating MRR/CDs, and overall general information about other programs offered at AMCOM. The SAMSAR tab stores newly updated information for secondary sourcing on Aviation restricted source items (ie SAR process), including a Novation SAR link for any approved source that has recently moved or changed CAGEs. Feel free to contact our office if you have any questions or concerns at contact@example.gov or you can go to our FAQ button. Cheers, The AMCOM CMO Team
