Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements:
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) has a requirement for four (4) Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) vessels with enclosed cabin, engines and trailer.
The primary role of this boat will be recovery of illegal and abandoned fishing gear in the North Atlantic Right Whale protection zone.
The first two vessels must be delivered by November 30, 2023 and the other two vessels by March 30, 2024.
Delivery regions are Richibucto, NB, Barrington, NS, Burnside, NS, and Liverpool,NS.
There is no security associated with this requirement.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
To be considered compliant, Bidders must meet all the Mandatory Requirements of the solicitation.
The lowest priced compliant proposal will be recommended for award.
