IMPACT: Interior flooding occurred in the interior of Building 1194 as a result of torrential rains that occurred in December of 2023.This facility was built on 01 July 2004. Mold remediation efforts were performed recently, but interior repairs are needed in order to bring this facility back to a full usable condition. 5. DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project to include interior drywall repairs, cove base replacement, ceramic wall tile repairs, sealing concrete floors, and the replacement of interior wooden doors in NCHB-14’s Vehicle maintenance facility. Sections of the interior walls and damaged vinyl floor tile were recently removed as part of mold remediation efforts for that facility. Building 1194 is a single floor facility and it is approximately 5,220 square feet. Additional information provided for this project includes but is not limited to the following tasks: a. Total drywall repairs total approximately 1,028 square feet. This includes all office and storage areas, NMCI closet area, and the lower section of the interior wall in the North end of the shop area. Approximately 3 feet of drywall from the floor surfaces up the walls was removed in these areas as part of a recent mold remediation project. Repairs shall include priming and repainting the new drywall to match the existing wall surfaces. b. Replace approximately 196 square feet of 2” x 2” ceramic wall tile in restrooms and entryway area to restrooms. The lower section ...
