REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION
The 409th CSB – Theater Contracting Center intends to issue a solicitation for the purchase of commercial Port Safety Gear PPE Package and Modified Headset Systems. This contract is designed to fully equip 67 Government personnel with high-visibility, all-weather safety clothing and safety gear, and to provide 80 modified tactical communication headsets to support the 598th Transportation Brigade and the 838th Transportation Battalion.
High-Level Scope of Work:
- Equipment Sourcing: Sourcing multi-season high-visibility clothing, safety boots (S3 safety class), safety helmets, protective eyewear, and safety gloves. All safety equipment must meet applicable European safety standards (DIN EN ISO) and bear physical CE markings.
- Tactical Headset Modification: Procuring 80 3M PELTOR ComTac VIII headsets and physically modifying them with 3M Peltor PTT FL5063 adapters to achieve complete compatibility with legacy unit tactical radios (Motorola DP4xxx series).
