Full Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs - Network Contracting Office 8 - Orlando VA Medical Center, Orlando, Florida intends to award a sole-source contract to SBG Group, LLC, 1570 St. Paul Ave. Gurnee, IL 60031 for the follow requirement and schedule. Quantity: 1 Manufacturer: Roland Consult: Distributer: SBG Group, LLC. Item: Reti-Portscan 21 with installation, set up and 8 hours of user training Delivery: 15 Days After Receipt of Order The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339115, Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturer and the small business size standard is 500 employees. A determination not to compete this requirement was made pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under the authority of Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13.106(b)(1) and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received via email by 21 August 2014 at 11:00 AM EST, award will be made without further notice. Email responses should be submitted to contact@example.gov. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
