The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 1, is seeking a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to furnish, deliver, assemble, and install six ergonomic stainless steel prep and pack workstations in the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) workroom at the Edith Nourse Rogers Veterans Memorial Hospital in Bedford, Massachusetts. Each workstation must be constructed of stainless steel, height-adjustable via electric or manual means, and manufactured entirely in the United States, with flush surfaces, sealed edges, and no exposed screws or crevices to ensure full cleanability and compliance with infection control standards. The workstations must include integrated accessories such as drawers, adjustable shelving, plastic bins with compatible bin rails, surge-protected workstation-mounted power distribution, articulating task lighting with magnification, VESA-compatible monitor mounts, and pull-out keyboard trays. The contractor is responsible for complete installation, including unpacking, assembly, operational verification of all components, and removal of all packing materials, with work to be performed during normal business hours Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Delivery and installation must occur within 60 days of award, with an alternate window of 30 to 45 days after receipt of order. Each system must be supported by two user manuals, and all configurations must allow adequate clearance, proper workflow, and cart movement within the SPS environment while reducing reprocessing errors through adequate lighting and tool placement.
