726-6-US-1331 - Utility Pole Replacement Project

Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to replace one utility pole along State Route 23 (SR-23). The existing 80-foot Class 1 wood pole will be replaced with a new 85-foot lightweight steel Class H3 pole in its existing location on the roadside along SR-23 in the southbound (SB) direction at postmile 0.04, in the City of Thousand Oaks, County of Los Angeles, and temporary traffic control activities will be performed. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 120 inches, an average width of 60 inches, and a maximum length of 5 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
