Greetings,The Department of Design and Construction is seeking a Special Inspector to provide special inspection services for the CO295EV- Bronx Housing Courthouse- Special Inspections project.Scope:During each inspection, the SME shall evaluate installed conditions for compliance with applicable accessibility standards and identify any non-conforming elements or construction deficiencies. Inspections shall be performed using appropriate field verification tools and instruments, including, but not limited to, a digital camera, tape measure, and 2-foot smart level. Following each site visit, the consultant shall provide a written report documenting observations, measurements, photographs, and other supporting information. The report shall clearly identify any accessibility compliance issues, reference the applicable code or standard requirements, and provide recommendations for corrective action to facilitate compliance with the above requirements. The report is to be submitted within 7 days of the site visit to DDC's ADA Compliance Unit for review and comment.
