Full Description

The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Contracting Center, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, intends to issue a solicitation on or around 18 February, 2010 for operation of the Government owned Dining Facilities located on both the Aberdeen and Edgewood Areas of Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. There are currently two dining facilities to be in operation for duration of the base year of this requirement. The contractor shall provide all labor, including management, to operate each facility serving three meals per day, with night, weekend and holiday meals being served as required. The Government will provide all service equipment and supplies for use in the facilities. This solicitation will be issued in accordance with the regulations and guidelines set forth by the Randolph-Sheppard Act (20 USC 1097). Thus, the State Licensing Agency will be afforded PARAMOUNT PRIORITY. If the State Licensing Agency's proposal is determined to be within the competitive range, comprising all of the most highly rated proposals (or consisting of the greatest number of proposals that will permit an efficient competition among the most highly rated proposals), a contract will be awarded to the State Licensing Agency based upon priority in accordance with the Randolph-Sheppard Act and implementing regulations. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price plus Award Fee contract. The Period of Performance shall be for a base year and two one-year options. The NAICS code applicable to this solicitation is 722310, size standard is $20.50 Million.
