Alberta Electric System Operator - Request for Proposal - AESO RFP - Quality Assurance and Testing Services

The Alberta Electric System Operator is soliciting qualified partners to deliver comprehensive Quality Assurance and Testing services through a five-year contract beginning in August 2026, with responses due by June 25, 2026. The contract encompasses three distinct service streams: Managed QA & Testing Services, which requires the vendor to own planning, governance, and execution of testing outcomes; QA Staff Augmentation, which involves supplying skilled professionals to bolster AESO’s internal QA team under direct oversight; and QA Automation Tools Provisioning, which entails providing and supporting enterprise-level automation tools to streamline functional and non-functional testing and minimize manual effort. All services will be delivered in a hybrid work environment and are intended to support complex, multi-vendor technology initiatives critical to AESO’s operations.
