Department of Water Resources (DWR) staff will break down, fill, and repair a large erosion on the secondary side of the levee road in Reach 6 of the California Aqueduct at Mile Marker 154. From the top of the road, a loader will break down the edges of the erosion, gather the collapsed material and place it back in the erosion. A 25 foot down drain will be installed and 12 tons of base rock will be brought by truck to regrade the surface. A water truck will be used to ensure adequate moisture is reached in the soil for proper compaction. All access and work is within DWR right of way.
