AI Contract Overview

This forecast from Navfac Washington involves the replacement of a 4 ton chilled water air handler located in room 145 at the PAX PDC. A technical assessment determined that the compressor has failed after testing revealed open terminals, despite proper voltage at the contactor and no shorts to ground. Because the existing system is over 20 years old and utilizes R 22 refrigerant, a full replacement is recommended rather than a simple compressor repair. Pricing for the replacement is currently being sourced following the initial diagnostic findings.
