Cache Creek Area Plan (CCAP) Update

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number YOL-20950-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, as represented by Craig Geldard. The project consists of the removal of 1) two approximately 270-foot-long sections of retired gas transmission pipelines (L-400 and L-401) where they cross Cache Creek; 2) approximately 10,350 square-feet of existing flexible grout cement erosion control (ercon) matting; and 3) the exposed portions of approximately 120 palisades installed on the north side of the creek upstream of the retired pipelines.
