Cache Creek Area Plan (CCAP) Update

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number YOL-20950-R2 under section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code. This agreement authorizes Pacific Gas & Electric Company, represented by Craig Geldard, to perform the L-400 and L-401 Cache Creek Crossing Removal Project in California. The scope of work includes the removal of two retired gas transmission pipeline sections, each approximately 270 feet long, as well as the removal of roughly 10,350 square feet of flexible grout cement erosion control matting and the exposed portions of approximately 120 palisades located on the north side of the creek upstream of the pipelines. A Notice of Determination issued on September 15, 2026, confirms that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment within the jurisdiction of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. The project is associated with the Cache Creek Area Plan update and is categorized under NAICS code 237990.
