The County of Hawaii is seeking to procure a camera with a lens for the Hawaii Police Department through a formal RFQ process. Vendors must complete and submit the designated RFQ form, ensuring all fields, including the fax number and exceptions box, are filled out prior to submitting their quote; failure to do so may result in disqualification. All communications regarding the solicitation must be made in writing through the designated Bid Contact via Public Purchase, as oral explanations are not binding and unauthorized contacts may lead to disqualification. The contract will be awarded as a single lot, requiring vendors to quote on all line items to be considered. If awarded, a purchase order will be issued electronically to the successful vendor. Vendors are encouraged to register with Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) early, especially for awards exceeding $2,500, to ensure compliance with Hawaii Revised Statutes 103D-310(C), as non-compliance may result in the award being given to another bidder. Additionally, vendors can submit bids based on active Hawaii state price and vendor list contracts, with the applicable contract terms replacing those in this RFQ if an award is made. The solicitation was posted on April 22, 2024, with a response deadline of April 25, 2024, and further details are accessible through the provided Public Purchase link.
