Collins Hill HS, Dacula MS & Duluth HS - HVAC Modifications

The Gwinnett County Board of Education is soliciting sealed bids for HVAC modifications across three Georgia facilities: Project A at Collins Hill High School (Old Field House), Project B at Dacula Middle School (Buildings 4050 and 4051), and Project C at Duluth High School (Building 5030). The contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis, with all construction required to be substantially complete by July 23, 2027. Bidders must mobilize within ten days of the Notice to Proceed, with full building access beginning May 27, 2027. Work during the school year is permitted on weekends and student breaks subject to owner approval. To qualify, bidders must be licensed in the state of Georgia and maintain a permanent office within a 75-mile radius of the project sites that has existed for at least ten years. Submission of the AIA Document A305-2020 Contractors Qualifications Statement is mandatory to avoid disqualification. Additionally, bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference on August 19, 2026. Sealed bids are due by September 3, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. and must include a bid bond equal to 5% of the base bid. The successful contractor will be required to provide performance and labor and material payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract sum, from a surety company meeting specific A.M. Best and Treasury Circular 570 requirements.
