The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a market survey to gather information from qualified vendors capable of providing commercial ground shuttle charter services. The service involves operating two round-trip shuttle routes: one between the William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace at Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey, and the Department of Transportation Headquarters in Washington, D.C., with multiple designated stops on each route. This survey aims to identify responsible sources possessing motorcoaches that meet specified standards including compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, passenger capacity of over 38 individuals, and amenities such as air conditioning, seat belts, luggage compartments, restrooms, Wi-Fi, and power outlets. The survey is strictly for informational purposes and not a solicitation for proposals or pricing. The FAA intends to use the market data to assess competition and determine whether to set aside the procurement for small and disadvantaged business categories or proceed with unrestricted competition. Interested vendors are required to submit capability statements detailing their experience, fleet compliance, and business classification, along with contact information by June 4, 2026. The FAA will not reimburse any preparation costs, and participation does not guarantee any contract award. The principal NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 485510 (Charter Bus Industry) with a size standard of $19 million. The point of contact for submissions and inquiries is Colleen McGuire.
