The State of West Virginia Department of Administration is soliciting bids for the purchase and installation of interior and exterior security cameras and related construction for the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind located in Romney, West Virginia. The project involves the installation of up to fifty interior security cameras, specifically requesting the Cisco Meraki MV22X network surveillance dome camera or an approved equal. Technical requirements include a varifocal lens, specific field of view and lens adjustment ranges, a minimum of 512GB high endurance solid state storage, AES 256-bit full disk encryption, and integrated 802.11ac wireless connectivity. All equipment must be new, commercially available, and supported by the manufacturer. The contract will be awarded to the vendor meeting all technical specifications for the lowest overall total cost. Bidders must provide a 5 percent bid bond with their submission, and the successful awardee is required to provide performance and labor/material payment bonds for 100 percent of the contract value, as well as commercial general liability insurance of at least 1 million dollars per occurrence. Payment will be made in arrears via electronic funds transfer or P-Card, though software licenses may be paid annually in advance. The final bid deadline, as extended by Addendum No. 1, is October 6, 2026, at 1:30 PM.
