Full Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Hood, TX intends to award a sole source purchase order to Jefferson Audio Video Systems (JAVS), Inc., 13020 Middletown Industrial Blvd, Louisville, KY 40223-4761, a small business concern, to provide maintenance on existing recording and presentation equipment. JAVS is the original equipment and software designer of the recording and presentation system. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) Soliciting From a Single Source. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available due to only one responsible source and no other service will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811212- Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $25M. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding within 5 days after the date of electronic publication of this synopsis. All responses must be provided no later than 10:00 am CST 30 August 2011. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
