The Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries is seeking quotes for an annual preventative maintenance on two (2) Fulton Endura Boilers, Model Number: EDR-2000 and four (4) Navien Tankless Hot Water Heaters, Model Number: NPE-240A2(NG) located at our Pesticide Residue Laboratory and State Chemical Laboratory, 1171 Wire Road, Auburn, AL 36832.Suppliers who need assistance with submitting their quote may contact the Alabama Buys Helpdesk at (334) 353-0700.Service Location: Pesticide Residue Laboratory and State Chemical Laboratory, 1171 Wire Road, Auburn, AL 36832.Equipment:1. Two (2) Fulton Endura Boilers, Model Number: EDR-2000Preventative Maintenance Should Include: Inspect the fuel train, burner and control panel to ensure components are free of debris and are properly attached to the boilers. Replace the combustion air filter with a new filter of the same Fulton part number (type, size, style). Examine the venting system (air intake and exhaust piping). Venting System - Check all joints and pipe connections for tightness. Venting System - Check piping for corrosion or deterioration. Venting System - Check piping to ensure it is clear of debris. Check the Condensate Drain System to ensure it is Functioning Properly. Inspect the hydronic heating system for other problems. Leak test and Inspect the filter of the gas valve. Clean the low water cut-out probe on the water outlet pipe. Clean the venturi with a clean cloth to remove dust build up. Remove and inspect burner - clean if necessary. Check the cabinet for leaks that would allow unfiltered combustion air to enter the cabinet. Any leaks should be taped or caulked. Damaged gaskets must be replaced. Test relief valve per manufacturer's instructions by lifting the lever for five (5) seconds and allowing the valve to snap shut. Perform combustion analysis and adjust if necessary. 2. Four (4) Navien Tankless Hot Water Heaters, Model Number: NPE-240A2(NG) Preventative Maintenance Should Include: Check the damper condition inside the back-flow damper through the maintenance port to ensure optimal performance of the system. Flush system with descaling solution for 30 minutes each. ***Note To Suppliers: Awarded Supplier must be certified to work on Fulton Endura Boilers and Navien Tankless Hot Water Heaters.
