This contract, awarded to Total Immersion Software, Inc., focuses on the development of desktop training capabilities for the SDV and IR Sensor Operator, as well as RW and ASI EW systems. The basic period of performance runs from September 30, 2008, to March 29, 2010, with all options potentially extending through September 29, 2010. Additionally, the contractor is tasked with enhancing the IR Sensor Operator Station with realistic modeling, advanced mission editing, and the integration of an Electronic Warfare Officer crew station. Optional deliverables include modernization of the IR station, full ship-to-shore transition simulations, and the development of a Remote Weapons System. The contractor is also required to provide comprehensive software documentation, including requirements specifications, test reports, and source code.
