Display Signage

The City of Seattle, through the Department of Finance and Administrative Services, is soliciting bids to establish a pool of contracts for citywide display signage services on an as-needed basis. This procurement seeks to replace two existing contracts expiring in 2027. The scope of work encompasses the labor, materials, and equipment required for the design, fabrication, and incidental installation of various products, including specialty graphics, labels, stickers, decals, magnets, banners, lawn signs, name plates, maps, and ADA-compliant signage. Production methods may include screen printing, digital imaging, vinyl graphics, and sandblasted or photo-etched images. While available for citywide use, the primary utilizers are expected to be the Department of Finance and Administrative Services Fleet Management and Facility Operations divisions, as well as Parks and Seattle Public Utilities. Bids for solicitation PR0-6689 are due by October 15, 2026. Awarded vendors must meet strict insurance requirements, including general liability, auto, and workers compensation, and must name the City of Seattle as an additional insured. The contract mandates compliance with Seattle Municipal Code regarding fair employment and non-discrimination, as well as adherence to the highest degree of disability access standards for project designs. Payment terms are generally net thirty days following the acceptance of goods or services. The City retains the right to reject non-conforming goods at the contractor's expense and requires that all hazardous materials be delivered with appropriate labeling and Material Safety Data Sheets.
