**Maximo WO# GTYXFS (DESIGN)** - Remove approximately 400ft of existing FRP pipe from Hotel Pier sump to VS-3 and replace with internally and externally coated carbon steel pipe. - Install a check valve at VS-3. - Repair or replace non-standard pipe shoes that are corroding in the Hotel pier trench. - Replace wooden valve pit covers. - Provide isolation for conduit connected to pipe. - Replace non-standard pipe fittings. - Remove approximately 2400 feet of existing PVC drain pipe form 26 valve pits to the Hotel pier sump and replace with internally and externally coated carbon steel. The new drain line must be sloped from every pit to the existing Hotel Pier sump. The current concrete trench covers shall be removed and replaced with trench grating. The trench grating will be heavy-duty, corrosion resistant, and allow operators to perform visual inspections and maintenance. Grating must be placed in 1 foot wide removable strips and be capable of withstanding the load of pedestrian traffic without deflecting to such an extent it damages the fuel pipe within the trench. The trench covers shall be placed in the existing trench on the existing concrete grating supports. Approximately 2,800 linear feet of trench cover will need to be replaced on the approximately 7.5 foot wide trench.
