The U.S. Coast Guard is looking for sources which would be interested in performing dry-dock repairs for Coast Guard Cutter HATCHET. The performance period of this upcoming dry-dock is 25 March 2017 to 15 May 2017. It is anticipated requests for quotes will be issued approximately 22 Nov 2017 and the contract would be awarded approximately 26 Jan 2018. HATCHT is a 75' Inland Construction Tender home ported in Galveston, TX. There are approximately 114 work items in the requirement and the specification is attached. All repairs will take place at the awarded contractor's dry-dock. All contractor dry-dock facilities must be approved and certified by the U.S. Coast Guard. The geographical restriction for this vessel is: Restricted to an area no greater than 400 nautical miles (nm) from the cutter's homeport and no open water transits. Companies which would be interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement should reply to this sources sought notice noting their business size status such as large business, small business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-owned, Women Owned Small Business etc.... Further if there are no past performance evaluations on file in the Past Performance Information System Retrieval database, contractors should provide a couple past performance references including the following information: contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers.
