Energized Line Clearance RFP

Lehi City is soliciting proposals under RFP 2026-06 for energized line clearance services to trim trees conflicting with city power lines on an as-needed basis. The contract is structured for an initial two-year term with an option for a third year, with performance taking place in Lehi, Utah. Awarding will be based on the best economic advantage, evaluating factors such as relevant qualifications, professional reputation, financial resources, and proposed pricing. The agreement requires the contractor to provide performance and payment bonds within ten days of the effective date, as well as a warranty bond or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the payment upon completion of work. Proposals must be submitted via the Bonfire portal by September 28, 2026, and must include a GAAP-compliant financial report for the past three fiscal years and an itemized bid summary sheet. Project management will involve regular communication with city staff through on-site or virtual meetings to ensure city goals are met.
