Energized Line Clearance RFP

Lehi City is soliciting proposals under RFP No. 2026 – 06 for a qualified contractor to provide as-needed tree trimming services for trees in conflict with city power lines in Lehi, Utah. The contract is designed for an initial term of two years, with an option for a third year. The selected contractor must adhere to ANSI A300, Z133, and OSHA 202 standards, manage all necessary traffic control, and notify property owners of trimming activities. Regular communication with city staff through on-site or virtual meetings is required to ensure project goals are met. The award will be granted to the respondent providing the best economic advantage and the best interests of the city, based on evaluations of qualifications, professional reputation, financial resources, and proposed pricing. Successful bidders must provide performance and payment bonds within ten days of the effective date, as well as a warranty bond or letter of credit equal to 10 percent of the payment upon completion of work. Proposals must be submitted via the Bonfire portal by September 28, 2026, and must include a GAAP-compliant financial report for the previous three fiscal years and an itemized bid summary sheet.
