The Department of War (DOW) is issuing this synopsis to announce its future intent to procure a commercial general-purpose excavator.  The intended equipment will support engineering, earthmoving, and base operation tasks.

This notice is issued soley for informational and market planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), on Invitation for BID (IFB).  This announcement is strictly non-binding.


The United States Government is not obligated to issue a formal solicitation, accept and proposals, or award a contract as a direct results of this synopsis.  Furthermore, the Government will not reimburse any interested parties for any information, administrative cost, or efforts expended in response to or in review of this notice.


3. Further Actions
