Fire Suppression System Inspection and Certification Services

The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) is conducting market research through a sources sought notice to identify interested and capable contractors for annual servicing and certification of the onboard fire suppression systems on four 25-ton Kone Portal Cranes. This work is to be performed within controlled industrial areas at PSNS and the IMF Delta Pier in Washington. The acquisition is classified under NAICS code 811310 for Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $12.5 million in average annual receipts. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and hold this NAICS code to be considered. This notice is solely for information gathering and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. Responses will assist the Government in determining the best procurement method, which may include small business set-asides or unrestricted competition.
