Request for QuotationThe Social Security Administration is seeking a contractor to provide on-site secure destruction services for sensitive and classified waste, including administrative and paper records, Braille documents, and other security-sensitive materials, at SSA Field and Hearing Offices across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. The contractor must supply and maintain 60–70 gallon lockable, wheeled bins for routine collections and banker boxes for purge materials, ensuring physical security throughout storage and transport. A Certificate of Destruction, signed by both the contractor and a designated SSA representative, must be completed for each service, documenting location, date, number of containers destroyed, destruction method, and personnel involved. All contractor personnel entering SSA facilities must be pre-vetted and listed in a by-name roster updated within four business days of any change; those without HSPD-12 credentials must be continuously escorted while on-site. Compliance with FAR 52.219-8 and 52.219-9 is mandatory, and failure to meet small business subcontracting goals may result in marginal or unsatisfactory performance ratings. The contract includes strict administrative controls such as pre-startup meetings, mandatory reporting of personnel changes, phase-out protocols requiring final pickups concurrent with destruction, and government oversight through a Contracting Officer’s Representative. No options, delivery terms, or pricing information are specified, and while no formal packaging or labeling standards beyond security containers are outlined, the emphasis remains on chain-of-custody integrity, security compliance, and accountability to safeguard sensitive government records.
