Forestry and Parks - Request for Proposal - Aviation Fuel Specialist

The Forestry Operations Branch of Alberta Forestry and Parks is seeking two provincial fuel specialists to provide essential services for maintaining and ensuring the safety and operational readiness of a network consisting of eight provincially owned and 37 leased aviation refueling systems. These specialists will report to the Provincial Aviation Specialist and be responsible for conducting scheduled annual inspections and audits, responding to unscheduled service requests during periods of high wildfire activity, and participating in emergency call-outs related to incident or accident investigations and maintenance needs. In addition to maintenance and inspection duties, the contract requires the specialists to deliver fuel handling and quality assurance training to department staff, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards.
