The Forestry Operations Branch of Alberta Forestry and Parks operates a network of aviation refueling facilities/systems to support Forestry Operations programs. In order to ensure the eight (8) provincially owned, and 37 leased aviation refueling systems are safe, operational and maintained to all applicable standards, the Province requires the Services of two (2) provincial fuel specialists. Reporting to the Provincial Aviation Specialist, the successful Proponent will provide Services through scheduled annual inspections/audits, unscheduled requests for Service during periods of increased wildfire activity and emergency call outs to assist with incident/accident investigations, and/or maintenance requests. The successful Proponent will also be required to provide fuel handling, and quality assurance training to department staff.
