The Billings Area Indian Health Service intends to award a commercial, sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.103-1 to STERICYCLE INC, 2355 WAUKEGAN ROAD, BANNOCKBURN, IL 60015-5501. The company shall Pick up and dispose of biomedical waste monthly at Fort Peck Service Unit, Poplar and Wolf Point, MT. Stericycle is the only source of the services in the area. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and is based upon market research


This is not a request for competitive proposal and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the service are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification within 7 days of the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this action is within the discretion of the Government.
