The contract involves the removal of the existing fuel distribution system at the U.S. Embassy in Dar Es Salaam, which is currently owned by TotalEnergies Marketing Tanzania Ltd, and the installation and operation of a new fuel system. The new system will include one underground storage tank with a capacity of 20,000 liters and a single dispenser, with the contractor retaining ownership of the equipment and software. The Embassy will be invoiced solely for the service of removing and installing the system, not for the equipment itself. The contractor is responsible for supplying high-grade diesel fuel to the Embassy, with an estimated minimum monthly order of 41,000 liters and a maximum annual order of 500,000 liters, though these figures are estimates. The performance period is expected to be for a base year, with four additional one-year options if exercised by the Government, under a fixed-price requirements contract that may be awarded based on initial proposals without discussion. The solicitation was posted on September 2, 2025, with a response deadline of September 15, 2025. The contract aims to ensure reliable fuel supply and system upgrade services, with the potential for multiple contract years depending on the Government's needs. Interested responsible sources are encouraged to submit quotations, and the award will be made to the most advantageous offer, potentially without negotiations. The contract falls under NAICS code 424710 and is managed by the US Embassy Dar Es Salaam, with the primary point of contact being the Contracting Officer.
