Kenton County Fiscal Court is soliciting bids for the delivery of gasoline and diesel fuels to its Public Works Department fueling station, which includes a 10,000-gallon gasoline tank and an 8,000-gallon diesel tank used to fuel vehicles and equipment across various county departments. The estimated annual consumption is approximately 67,000 gallons of gasoline and 25,000 gallons of diesel. Bidders must price their proposals based on the daily gross prices listed in the Oil Price Information Service (O.P.I.S.) PAD 2 report for Covington, Kentucky, quoting amounts above the confirmed daily contract price on the day of delivery. Prices must include all delivery charges but exclude taxes, which will be added separately to invoices. Gasoline pricing should be based on the Covington O.P.I.S. Low RFG 87 Octane Ethanol Blends report, while diesel fuel pricing should reference several O.P.I.S. reports for on-road and off-road diesel including seasonal specifications for winter blends capable of withstanding temperatures down to minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Some remote County sites require dyed off-road diesel for generator use, with relevant minimum order quantities and delivery fees noted by bidders. The solicitation provides estimated fuel usage for general scope and proposal comparison without guaranteeing actual quantities. The contact points for questions or submission details include the Fleet Services Supervisor and the Assistant Treasurer at Kenton County’s Public Works Department in Covington, Kentucky.
