Generator Stack Extension - Building 331

The contract involves extending two baffle stacks on the co-generation plant at Napa State Hospital’s Building 331 by approximately 150 inches each to accommodate increased exhaust capacity. Alongside the stack extensions, the project includes installing two 40-foot ladders with protective cages to provide safe vertical access to the tops of the exhaust stacks, as well as constructing a secure platform near the upper section of each stack to enable routine air sampling and maintenance activities. All work is focused on enhancing operational safety and compliance by ensuring proper access for environmental monitoring and equipment inspection.
