The Government is in the pre-solicitation phase for the Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) Army Ammunition Plant (AAP) Design, Build, and Commissioning Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). It has released consolidated responses to industry questions submitted through May 8, 2026, which are organized and color-coded based on their original release dates, reflecting the evolution of inquiries over the pre-solicitation period. The official Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated to be released in May 2026 under the new solicitation number W519TC-26-R-A020. This replaces the previous solicitation number due to a Government transition to a new contract writing system and posting limitations on SAM.gov; therefore, industry participants should use the updated solicitation number for all future correspondence and tracking. This notice is informational only and does not represent a formal solicitation, with no proposals being sought at this time. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring SAM.gov and the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment for the official RFP release and related documents. The contract supports the design, build, and commissioning work at the Army Ammunition Plant, falling under NAICS code 236210. Points of contact for questions include SFC Pramod Khanal as the primary contact, with several alternatives available for outreach. The Government has provided an attachment dated May 13, 2026, detailing its consolidated answers to industry questions to assist interested vendors in preparing for the upcoming RFP.
