Groundwater Transfer and Injection Project - Oxford, MS

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service is seeking information from small businesses to determine the availability of technical experts for the Groundwater Transfer and Injection Project Phase 2 in Oxford, Mississippi. The project involves expanding a distributed network of extraction and injection wells to enhance riverbank filtration and groundwater recharge in the Mississippi River Valley Alluvial Aquifer. Selected contractors will provide engineering, hydrogeological, geophysical, operational, and cost estimation expertise to guide site selection and development of a credible cost estimate through virtual and on-site collaboration with ARS personnel and stakeholders. Onsite geophysical investigations of potential sites will also be required as part of the effort. The agency intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract on a small business set-aside basis, contingent upon receiving responses from at least two qualified small businesses. Interested parties must submit their firm’s name, point of contact, Unique Entity ID, certification status under small business programs such as 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, or SDB, and a clear indication of whether they intend to compete as a prime contractor or through a teaming arrangement.
