Expression of interest: Small-satellite missions sandpit
Solicitation # 206083
UK Research and Innovation is seeking expressions of interest for a small-satellite missions sandpit designed to bring together approximately 30 researchers and innovators from diverse disciplines. The goal is to co-develop ambitious, challenge-led small-satellite mission concepts focusing on innovative sensors, data streams, and cross-sector enabling technologies to enhance sovereign capability, address national security and societal challenges, and support economic growth. The activity consists of six sessions held between January 26 and February 11, 2027, utilizing a combination of online sessions and a two-day residential event. Total program funding is listed at 1,870,000, with the objective of developing concepts for pump-priming research grants in 2027/2028. Selection of participants is based on core assessment questions focusing on skills and potential contributions rather than track record, with additional consideration given to geographic diversity across all UK regions. Applicants must apply through an Expression of Interest stage, and invited applicants will use the Resume for Research and Innovation format. Mandatory attendance at all sessions is required, with travel and subsistence costs reimbursed and accommodation provided for overnight stays. The program is managed by the UKRI Space Programme team, with the response deadline for the solicitation set for November 25, 2026.

Enabling Technology for Future Missions
Solicitation # 9F063-20260085
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is soliciting proposals under solicitation number 9F063-20260085 for the development of one to three enabling technologies to support future space missions. The primary objective is to advance strategic technologies to reduce technical uncertainties and support the implementation of future Canadian space activities. A specific focus of this effort is the maturation of a lightweight, athermal reflecting telescope capability to Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5. This includes the delivery of a reflecting telescope brassboard validated for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) vibration and thermal-vacuum environments, intended for Earth Observation imaging payloads on CubeSats of 4U or larger, with the telescope itself being 2U or less. Key performance targets include a Ground Sampling Distance of less than 7 metres and a swath width greater than 5 km. The project is planned for a duration of 16 months, structured around five key milestones: a Kick-off meeting, Preliminary Design Review, Detailed Design Review/Work Authorization Meeting, Test Readiness Review, and a Final Review meeting. Deliverables include the hardware brassboard, CAD and performance analysis models, software, and a Technology Roadmap for advancing to TRL 6-8. This solicitation is restricted to Canadian suppliers. Awards will be based on the highest combined rating of technical merit (60 percent) and price (40 percent), with a minimum technical score of 70 points required for consideration. The procurement process includes strict requirements for security clearances, intellectual property disclosure, and adherence to environmentally preferable packaging standards.

Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library
Solicitation # 80JSC025_CLDC_TECH_LIBRARY
The Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library, managed by the NASA Johnson Space Center, serves as a centralized repository of technical standards, plans, and guidelines for potential offerors. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the development of private LEO space destinations and supporting systems as NASA prepares for the retirement of the International Space Station. The library provides a series of data drops containing both controlled and uncontrolled technical data, including standards for docking systems, payload interfaces, and crew health operations. It also outlines specific NASA center capabilities and high-value engineering products available to industry partners to reduce technical and schedule risks. It is important to note that this activity is a special notice and does not constitute a Request for Proposals, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation. No proposals are to be submitted in response to this notice, and it does not represent a commitment by the government to enter into a contract. Access to export-controlled content requires the submission of a specific request form and compliance with U.S. export regulations, including the implementation of Technology Transfer Control Plans and Non-Disclosure Agreements for foreign nationals. The library is intended to keep industry updated on current NASA technical standards in anticipation of future FAR-based acquisitions.

Launch Conjunction CSO 47QFCA22R0007 - Amendment 01 The purpose of this amendment is to: 1. Attach PIRC Solicitation terms and conditions with additional mandatory clauses and provisions. A. Background: The General Services Administration (GSA) Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) is a non- Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based solicitation authority for acquiring innovative and commercial solutions. Section 880 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2017 (Pub. L. 114-328) authorized GSA to implement a pilot program to competitively procure innovative and commercial products using CSO procedures. CSO is a new acquisition mechanism that provides a streamlined acquisition process and simplified contract terms that is designed to attract start-up companies and others who have not previously worked with the U.S. Government. The GSA FEDSIM innovation team will use the CSO procedures to acquire innovative and commercial products currently in the production/commercialization phase as well as adaptations of existing commercial products. GSA FEDSIM will post a solicitation for a specific project or technical area of interest when an opportunity is open. For purposes of this posting, "Innovative" is defined as follows: Any item that is- A new technology, process, or method as of the date of submission of a proposal; or A new application or adaptation of an existing technology, process, or method as of the date of submission of a proposal. Includes existing items within the production/commercialization phase (i.e. after design or development, and before widespread government adoption) as well as adaptations of existing commercial products. The CSO solicitation process will include a multi-phased solicitation and evaluation approach: Phase 1 - Submission of the Written Solution Brief, Phase 2 - Product Demonstrations, and Phase 3- Request for Proposal. The CSO is considered a competitive process, intended to ensure that competitive procedures are used to the maximum extent practicable. Interested parties are highly encouraged to visit the GSA FEDSIM website https://fedsim.gsa.gov/cso/ to obtain more information regarding the CSO process and new opportunities. Specific projects and technical areas of interest will be posted via an open solicitation on the GSA FEDSIM website and may be updated at any time. Potential offerors are hereby advised of the following: Solicitation for solution briefs is not a guarantee that award and obligation of funds will be made. The costs incurred by companies in the preparation and submission of their solution briefs in response to solicitations will not be paid by the government and are not allowable as a direct charge to any government contract.
